[pgcluster: 781] pg_dump exits (pgcluster 1.1.1a on 7.4-7 )

Hello. I am using pgreplicate on a very transactional  --albeit rather
small-- database that will go to production in two weeks.  I would
like to understand in what cases Replication log should be used on
pgreplicate. When I use it, I can dump my databases with pg_dump but
performance suffers.
