postmaster -D /usr/local/pgsql/data
とすると既にディレクトリの中にファイルがあるよ、というメッセージが出ました。
ですのでもうinitdbは行ってあると思います。（変なファイルが入ってるだけでしょ 
うか）

中を見てみると
PG_VERSION  base  global  pg_hba.conf  pg_ident.conf  pg_xlog 
postgresql.conf  postmaster.opts  postmaster.pid
というファイルがありました。
