[pgsql-jp: 31748] Server process were terminated

はじめまして、吉里と申します。

正常に動かなくなってしまったので、助けていただけないでしょうか。
Cobalt Raq4 + PostgreSQL7.0.2に、Accessで接続しデータを更新しました。
その後Telnetでpgsqlを起動し、updateしようとすると、以下の様なエラーが出ます。

サーバ自体を再起動しても駄目でした。
原因を探ろうと検索しましたが、うまくヒットしません。
ヒントでも構いませんので、何かご助言いただけないでしょうか。
