[pgsql-jp: 34480] postmaster.pidが存在する場合での起動時のエラーメッセージ

皆様。はじめまして。
西田と申します。

先日 OS起動時にPostgreSQLのログに以下のメッセージが出力されておりました。
メッセージの内容を見る限り、共有メモリの問題のようですが、
メッセージに pid ファイルを消してくださいとあります。
pidファイルを削除したのち、PostgreSQLを起動したらメッセージは
出力されなくなりました。

その後、postmastre.pidファイルが存在する状況で
PostgreSQLの起動を何度か行いましたが、同様のメッセージは
出力されませんでした。

そこで質問なのですが、
１．このメッセージは今後出力されなければ気にしなくてよいのでしょうか。
２．pidファイルの削除と共有メモリの開放は関係があるのでしょうか。
    それとも、関係はないのでしょうか。
３．このメッセージが出力されていたとき、OSも不安定だったのですが、
    なにか関係があるのでしょうか。

どなたか、お分かりになる方がいらっしゃったらご教授願います。
