[pgsql-jp: 26928] postmasterをdaemontoolから起動していますが、「createdb」ができません。

現在、以下の環境でpostgresqlを使用しています。

[環境]
OS : FreeBSD4.4
Postgresql : postgresql-7.2.1
daemontool : daemontool-0.70

[問題点]
postmasterをdaemontoolを使用して起動した場合に
「createdb」ができません。
なお、postmasterを以下のコマンドで手動で起動した場合には
問題ございません。
"%postgres > postmaster -i -D /usr/local/pgsql/data -p 5432"


/var/service/pgsql/runには以下のように設定しています。

exec env - PATH="/usr/local/pgsql/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin" \
PGDATESTYLE=ISO \
setuidgid postgres \
postmaster -i -D /usr/local/pgsql/data -p 5432

エラーメッセージは以下のようになります。

NOTICE:  database directory '/usr/local/pgsql/data/base/1046419' could not
be removed
ERROR:  CREATE DATABASE: could not initialize database directory; delete
failed as well
createdb: database creation failed

どなたか、daemontoolからpostmasterを起動した経験をお持ちの方
